My Brothers and Sisters, I greet you in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the head of the Church and Savior of the Body. It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the website of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 10720 Falls of Neuse Road in the Capital City - Raleigh, North Carolina. Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church is a church small enough to know you and large enough to serve you. Our mission is to reach the world with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must not lose sight nor allow ourselves to become sidetracked from focusing on the task before us in sharing this message of hope to our world which so desperately needs him. Our vision is articulated in the following three goals:

1. To make disciples as Christ has commanded: the ultimate goal of the Church by impacting the world with a powerful message of Love.
2. To equip and empower disciples: to prepare God’s children to do battle against a foe that will be defeated in the end. The New Testament admonishes us in II Corinthians 10:4 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down the strongholds of the enemy.”
3. Accountability: Romans 14:12 "Each one of us will have to give an account (answer) to God”. No individual is an island; we are all accountable to God and each other.

May we always remember that “He which has begun a good work in us will perform it until the Day of Jesus Christ,” we can count on him to come through for us every time.
